Denzel Devall Commits to Crimson Tide

Alabama landed its 22nd commitment of the 2012 recruiting class today when Bastrop, Louisiana linebacker Denzel Devall pulled the trigger.

Devall is a beast of a linebacker who is as physically college-ready as any player signed the entire year. With the national championship coming up between the Tide and the Tigers, pulling this elite playmaker out of LSU Country is monumental. Bastrop has a long history of sending elite players to LSU, and getting a player this talented to leave the state is a big. Doing it while the Tigers are sitting atop the college football world is even more impressive.

At 6-foot 2-inches and 240 pounds, Devall has been a man among boys in high school and is a viscous hitter. He is as complete a player as you will find in the country.

We will have a comprehensive breakdown on Devall coming to you in the recruiting series very soon.
