2 Alabama Crimson Tide Players Among 23 From SEC in Super Bowl

Two former players for the Alabama Crimson Tide will have the opportunity to add a Super Bowl trophy to go with their national championship honors.

Nose tackle Terrence Cody and linebacker Courtney Upshaw, both former members of championship teams at Alabama, are among 23 former SEC players headed for the NFL’s championship game. Both Cody and Upshaw will suit up with the Baltimore Ravens when they take on the San Francisco 49ers.

With the NFC and AFC championship games being held this past Sunday, it was guaranteed that at least one former Crimson Tide player would make it to the Super Bowl.
