Reuben Foster has given every indication he intends to sign with Auburn University on National Signing Day. But after an eventful weekend, some are speculating that he might wind up wearing crimson.
The five-star inside linebacker was spotted in Tuscaloosa Saturday night after reports that he had been involved in an altercation with an Auburn football player. Foster was taking his final official visit to Auburn on the final weekend before signing day on Wednesday.
Confirmed that Reuben Foster is in Tuscaloosa tonight. Was supposed to be on his official visit to #Auburn this weekend, but is at #Bama.

Foster lives in Auburn with his mother, and studied at Auburn High School. The visit was expected to be almost a formality, as the 6-foot-1, 240-pound Foster was a longtime Auburn commitment, even going so far as to have the Auburn logo tattooed on his arm.
But Foster decommitted after the firing of head coach Gene Chizik and – more importantly to Foster, apparently – wide receivers coach and lead recruiter Trooper Taylor.
Auburn likely still has the inside track on Foster’s services, but he’s certainly making friends in Tuscaloosa. A quickly-deleted Tweet from Alabama receiver Christion Jones indicated that they are pals:
“Chillin with my boy Alvin and Reuben tonight” -@Jonessboy22
Alvin is likely Alvin Kamara, running back prospect choosing between Alabama and Georgia.
All the speculation ends Wednesday, and BamaHammer will be covering National Signing Day live all day long.
