Fultondale’s ArDarius Stewart was the runner-up Mr. Football in the state of Alabama in 2012, and he is one of the top athletes in the country as a consensus four star prospect across the networks.. Stewart brings a lot of versatility to the table with his ability to play multiple positions.

He played quarterback in high school, but will start his career in Tuscaloosa as a wide receiver. If things don’t work out there, Stewart could ultimately switch to defensive back; a position he also played in high school.

Stewart has very good speed and he’s very elusive in the open field. Give him the ball with space, and he’s a threat to take it all the way.

His role next season is unclear with all the talent Alabama is bringing back at wide receiver in 2013 to go along with two other highly recruited guys out of high school. Don’t be shocked if Stewart takes a redshirt next season, but he should contribute down the stretch as a slot receiver and he could also factor in as a kick returner at some point in his career.
