Eddie Jackson will be another receiver in the Class of 2013 for Nick Saban. Jackson, as the 54th ranked receiver according to ESPN, will bring more speed and athleticism to a core that’s already full of it. His play-making ability is one of the best we see in this class. Jackson has been one of the most improved prospects over the past two months’ recruiting process.
In his senior year at Boyd Anderson High School in Florida, he averaged over 20 yards per catch and finished with 14 total touchdowns. His ability to make tacklers miss makes him a threat whenever he gets a touch. He is competitive and very physical for an undersized receiver. Jackson is agile and can quickly get away from defenders with or without the ball.
Jackson comes into a receiving core that’s already filled with talent. Whether Jackson can get playing his first year may not be up to him. One thing that is for sure, Jackson has the ability to be play-maker in the near future for the Tide.
