An early signee (May, 2012) Jonathan Allen brings speed to the defense where he could contribute as a Defensive End or Linebacker. He played multiple positions at Stone Bridge high school in Virginia where he earned HS All American honors and was named Virginia HS Player of the Year.  He has explosive speed and you should expect him to work into the rotation early, particularly at Linebacker where his size and speed make him a perfect fit in the Alabama system.
