AJ McCarron is making sure he’s able to run the length of the Road to No. 16.

The Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Tweeted video today to his followers of a successful attempt at a 600-pound squat. Alabama is known for its strength and conditioning program, run with more than a little noise by Scott Cochran.

Alabama recently debuted their new $9 million weight room and training facility, which rivals that of any NFL team, and McCarron is clearly no slouch in the gym.

The Tide signal-caller – along with the rest of the team – is preparing for the opening of the Alabama spring camp, which concludes with the annual A-Day scrimmage, this year on April 20, in advance of their defense of back-to-back BCS National Championships.
