T.J. Yeldon’s Top 10 Plays of 2012

Crimson Tide running back T.J. Yeldon is poised to take over as Alabama’s featured back as the 2013 football season draws near. The sophomore sensation had a record-breaking freshman year and finds himself on several preseason watch lists headed into this season.

Yeldon made an immediate impact on the Tide rushing attack, gaining 111 yards and one touchdown in his first game in a crimson jersey against the Michigan Wolverines. He went on to break the 1,000-yard rushing mark in 2012, scoring 12 touchdowns in the process.

In 2013 Yeldon will get the start for the Tide, but will have plenty of backfield help available from the likes of Jalston Fowler and Derrick Henry.

As they did with Tide quarterback AJ McCarron, our pals over at XOS Digital have assembled the top 10 plays of Yeldon’s first year at the Capstone. If you can’t guess the top-ranked highlight of last season for Yeldon, you probably weren’t paying much attention at the time.
