Alabama To Honor Mal Moore With Helmet Sticker

The Alabama Crimson Tide will honor the late Mal Moore when they take the field for the 2013 season with a helmet sticker.

The decal, featuring the name ‘Mal,’ with the Alabama ‘Script A’ in the center, pays tribute to the former player, coach and athletic director, who died earlier this year.

As a quarterback for the Tide, as well as a coach and an administrator for the university, Moore was part of ten national championship teams at Alabama.

Moore was instrumental along with head coach Nick Saban in fundraising for the the major renovations to the Alabama athletic facilities, including its shiny new weight room.

The helmet sticker was made public via the university’s Instagram page.
