According to Marquavius Burnett of the Anniston Star Alabama running back TJ Yeldon will be suspended for the first quarter of Saturday’s game with Colorado State stemming from his unsportsmanlike conduct penalty last week against Texas A&M.

Earlier this week Yeldon issued a public apology for the penalty but obviously Saban has decided for a bit more punishment to send a message. Even before the game Saban had been very clear that he does not tolerate trash talk and unsportsmanlike conduct,

“That’s not us. That’s not our program. That’s not what we do. We’ve never ever tolerated and we’ve never ever had it,” Saban said. I don’t think there’s any place for it in college football. I can’t control what other people do, but I can control what our guys do.”
