Alabama returned to the practice field in full pads this afternoon as preparation for this weekend’s game with Arkansas continues.
Injured starting center Ryan Kelly continues to be a full participant in practice this week and he split reps with the first team offensive line in team drills with Chad Lindsay who has started the previous two games since Kelly’s injury against Ole Miss.
The running backs were spotted working on ball security in a drill that the media hasn’t seen yet during practice. One running back stood with the ball in his arms while the others attempted to rip it out which supposedly freshmen Derrick Henry looked to be enjoying.
There is has been no change in the way suspended free safety HaHa Clinton-Dix practices and that remained the same today.
Jack linebacker Denzel Devall lost the brace he’s been wearing on his injured knee but had some padding on it today instead. He looked to be limping a bit during practice.
Despite splitting time with the starters the last two games freshmen Grant Hill remained with the second team offensive line today.
Alabama returns to practice tomorrow and Nick Saban will hold a press conference tomorrow afternoon along with his weekly appearance on the SEC coaches teleconference in the morning.
