Practice Report from AL.com

  • CB Bradley Sylve is still limping a bit as he goes through drills. We’ll get an update on his status from Nick Saban after practice, but it appears that Cyrus Jones is the likely choice to start opposite of Deion Belue on Saturday.
  • DL Dakota Ball is no longer wearing a black, non-contact jersey. He’s been back on the practice field for a week after missing more than a month with a broken foot. He was a member of the scout team.
  • DL Wilson Love remains sidelined with an unspecified injury.
  • Figuring out a pecking order on Alabama’s defensive line isn’t the easiest thing to accomplish because there are so many variables, but here’s what we saw during one particular drill. First group was Jeoffrey PaganBrandon Ivory and Ed Stinson. Second was Jonathan Allen,Darren Lake and A’Shawn Robinson. Third was Dee LinerKorren Kirven and Anthony Orr.
  • Alabama’s inside linebackers were working on the read option during today’s viewing period. Mississippi State’s Dak Prescott is questionable for Saturday’s game because of an elbow injury, but it doesn’t appear the Crimson Tide is taking any chances.

Men’s Basketball Inks 3 NLIs, Recruiting Class Ranked 21st Nationally

Gymnastics Adds Five
