Clinton-Dix Injury Update, Mosley Wins Butkus Award

College Football awards season is officially underway and it was announced tonight that senior Alabama linebacker CJ Mosley has been awarded the 2013 Butkus Award honoring the nations top linebacker. Mosley joins Derrick Thomas and Rolando McClain as the only Alabama players to win the award.

In related Alabama news, Alabama coach Nick Saban revealed tonight that HaHa Clinton-Dix’s recent knee surgery for a meniscus injury was a knee scope and that he should be cleared to practice within two weeks. Dix will likely be available for Alabama’s January 2nd matchup with Oklahoma.
