I am looking forward to 2014, as our team, coaching staff, and fan base will be rejuvenated, on our quest for #16. We all recognize that there are a few missing pieces to the puzzle (a D-line that has at least one disruptive force), better performance from our D-backs and O-line, and more utilization of the tools that we have on offense (Henry, Drake, WR’s, and Yeldon). I for one would like to see improvements in our offensive play calls from Nussmeier. FSU should have shown us the answer to the up tempo, Gus “razzle dazzle” offense: put a beast on the D-line, and disrupt the flow of backfield motions, which also helps with QB sacks and tackles for losses, something we sorely missed this year. Alabama should never forget the sour taste of ‘what could have been’ from 2013, and use this as a teaching moment. Roll Tide. Let’s get it on. Oh, and BTW, mark 11/29/2014 on the calendars, as a day when ‘the cows return home for processing’. Roll Tide.
