This Video May Prove That Auburn Tigers Fans Are Sore Losers

There’s been precious little trash talk from the Auburn Tigers fans in our timeline and on our Facebook feed since the Florida State Seminoles defeated the Tigers in Monday’s BCS National Championship game.

We’re hearing stories from all corners of Auburn fans not showing up for work on Tuesday, de-friending people, and generally refusing to engage with rival fans. In our mind, part of the fun of sports is the trash talk and gamesmanship among fans of the other team. But if you do talk smack, it’s vital that you man up and take your medicine when your team loses. There’s no crying in baseball, and there’s no wimping out after a loss.

Have you got any stories about Auburn coworkers or pals that won’t cowboy up and take their medicine? Let us know below.

They may not be trolling and spamming you on facebook, but we’ve been working around the clock kicking them off Alabama Nation….even today! It’s a PIA, but it’s hilarious at the same time. RMFT!!

  • Buck Holter

Who trash talks after a loss? But don’t worry, we aren’t going anywhere.

  • Greg Duke

A dear friend of mine who happens to be an Aubie must have posted over 100 segments on FB during the BCS game. At halftime, I sent him a note, wondering how he could possibly be watching the game with his blogs and posts on every play. Tuesday morning, the only post had to do with a Republican candidate out west. Nothing sense. Nothing like a good whipping to shut down the smack talk. Wonder how long the recovery will take? Hopefully, 11/29/2014 will put the Aubies back on life support! Roll Tide.

  • Rhonda Coleman

I was told I was showing my true colors but it wasn’t CRIMSON. They CAN dish out, but CANNOT take it. Deleted them on my Facebook…family too!!!! I do not get a rip what conference it is as long as the barn loses…ROLL TIDE!!!!!.

  • Teresa

I am passionate about the Tide. I posted, on my page, Let’s go FSU! I am now an Auburn hater and, I’m not sure but, I really think my character and christian values were brought under question. Who knew? If you live in the state of Alabama you “MUST” pull for the other team when your team is not in the running….. lesson learned…. NOT!!!! Really! Are these people that insecure? I don’t care if my Auburn friends don’t cheer for Alabama, I wouldn’t expect them too. I don’t take it personal. Should I seek protection until this blows over or do you think a public apology is in order?

  • Beck

Yah, where was your Roll Tide when the Tigers rolled over you in the Iron Bowl????
Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Ah ha ha ha ha…WAR EAGLE!!!

    • CMTDawg

Rolled? A desperation run back at the last second is rolling? I’ll give you props you accomplished your “Wall Goal”. I know it’s hard to watch your team lose a bowl game. I too watched my team lose a bowl game…..well not one for the championship…we win those…..but I understand your frustration.

They can dish it out for sure. I know an Auburn fan, not a grad of course, who was rather belligerent in taunting people on social media and would make remarks that it was “all in fun” when people would comment back. After the boogs lost in Pasadena, they were name calling and telling people to shut up. I guess it was not “all in fun” then.

Another friend, who actually did graduate from the Barn, made AUBnoxious comments for weeks until they lost and now winning and losing doesn’t matter because they have Jesus. Seriously.

  • Starr Gross

I am an extreme Auburn fan and i can take as much trash talk as i can give, but unlike certain fans i only trash talk the team we are playing and/or beat. I don’t yell WAR EAGLE at every football game only the ones that deserve it, as in Auburn games. Our win/lose of the National Championship only affected two teams and that is Auburn and FSU so if you aren’t a fan of either you should keep your mouth shut because obviously if your team wasn’t in the game they didn’t deserve it and either team is better than yours. P.S. i showed up to work , i still have the very annoying friends and family members of certain teams(not FSU) on my Facebook and i have not avoided and nor will i ever avoid someones call because we lost a game. Win or lose i bleed orange and blue.

    • Badscarlet35

I’d be getting my blood checked……that can’t be healthy. ROLL TIDE!!

      • Starr Gross

Perfectly healthy Auburn Tiger here…..War Eagle!!!!

    • BamaHammer

And this, folks, is how to Fan correctly. While we tend to think the Alabama-Auburn rivalry is a 24/7/365 proposition, this is how you do it.

  • erickcartman

Nick Saban: I may not get to every national championship, but when I do, I WIN. CRASH AND AU-BURN!!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Chris Nave

Not a AU fan, but it’s a two way street. I just see a lot hypocrisy from bama fans. Besides I didn’t see any AU fans shooting other people over a loss unlike who(waaaaait for it) ” ALABAMA!!!”. Who is the sore loser?
