The coaching shakeup at Alabama continued Wednesday with the resignation of Crimson Tide defensive backs coach Greg Brown.
Brown came to Alabama prior to the 2013 season after spending the previous two seasons as the defensive coordinator for the Colorado Buffaloes.
This latest move will make room for former director of player personnel Kevin Steele take the field coaching linebackers. Steele accepted the defensive coordinator position with the Louisville Cardinals last week, then changed his mind and stayed with Alabama.
There’s little doubt that head coach Nick Saban has decided to make major changes to the product that took the field in 2013. Despite finishing 11-2, Alabama was outplayed in the season finale against Auburn, and soundly beaten by Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl.
