This morning Alabama walk-on quarterback Luke Del Rio announced via twitter that he was leaving Alabama:
I had an incredible year at Bama, it’s sad to say that it will be my last,I’m excited for the next chapter of my life and what it will bring

Del Rio, the son of Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio, chose to walk-on at Alabama rather than accept scholarships at schools like Oklahoma State. He was a redshirt freshman in 2013.
Speculation as to the reasons for the transfer will center around Del Rio’s father and his relationship with new Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin, as well as whether FSU backup quarterback Jacob Coker may transfer to Alabama. It’s safe to say that the offseason in Alabama continues to be interesting.
