Marlon Humphrey, the nation’s top cornerback prospect, is among six prospects taking an official visit to Tuscaloosa this weekend.
Humphrey, a five-star defensive back out of Hoover (Al.) High School, is Alabama’s top defensive prospect, and is also being pursued by the BCS champion Florida State Seminoles. He’s also an elite track athlete who has won 13 state titles on the track.
The 6-foot-1, 175 pound DB is the son of former Crimson Tide great Bobby Humphrey, and was named a 2013 first-team All-USA by USA Today and a 247Sports Class of 2014 All-American. Legacy players are always exciting for the fans, and it will be interesting to see Humphrey playing on the opposite side of the ball as his famous father.
Alabama is playing host to the recruits as it enters the final days of recruiting before National Signing Day on Wednesday, Feb. 5th. The Crimson Tide has the top recruiting class in the nation according to most recruiting sites.
