AJ McCarron says Grammy Performances 'Demonic'

Former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback AJ McCarron took to Twitter to denounce what has become a particularly controversial Grammys awards show.

Among the performances at the music industry’s premier awards show, singer Katy Perry dressed as a witch and simulated being burned at the stake, and Beyoncé gave what was called a particularly risqué performance.

Breitbart.com quipped about the NSFW show:

Other performances included Jay Z grabbing his wife’s Beyonce’s butt on stage and artists Macklemore and Ryan Lewis singing “Same Love” during the mass wedding. And Justin Bieber was not even at the awards show.

What has everyone talking, however, was the performance by Madonna and Macklemore, who performed the song ‘Same Love’ as 33 couples – including many same-sex couples – were married live on air.

Celebrities being silly or “transgressive” is nothing new, but the lengths to which they will go to shock our jaded society increases every year. The calculated, carefully-tested provocation stands in pretty stark contrast to the unguarded comments of a decent young man from south Alabama on his social media account.

Guess who will be mocked for being the weird one?
