Alabama Store Mocks Jameis Winston Crab Legs Incident

You had to know Alabama Crimson Tide fans would get in on the fun when Florida State Seminoles quarterback Jameis Winston got in hot water, so to speak.

Jack’s Foodland in Eva, Alabama apparently is now selling what are labelled ‘Jameis Winston King Crab Legs’ according to this image that made the rounds on Twitter.

Winston was reportedly cited by police for leaving a Publix grocery store without paying for some crab legs. Winston was suspended from the Seminoles baseball team as a result.

While this is clearly a minor infraction, compared with what else Winston has been accused of doing, it highlights how major sport athletes are always under the spotlight. It also may be an indication that big-time athletes can get used to ignoring the rules.

The main thing this shot from Alabama indicates, however, is that we’re all anxious to get the summer over with, and start watching college football again.
