Report: Alabama Could Play Cincinnati Bearcats In 2015

Nick Saban could face Tommy Tuberville once again if Alabama plays the Cincinnati Bearcats in 2015, as a 247Sports report suggests.

Tom Groeschen of the Cincinnati Enquirer said Monday afternoon that the schools have discussed playing at some future point, with a 2015 date in Cincinnati being one possibility.

Crimson Tide director of athletics Bill Battle has complained publicly that finding out-of-conference opponents for Alabama has been tougher as of late. The Tide are looking for a final 2015 opponent to finalize their 2015 schedule.

If the Bearcats were to host the Tide, it would mean only six home games for Alabama in 2015.

The last time Saban and Tuberville faced each other, Alabama ended Auburn’s six-game win streak with a resounding 36-0 victory in Tuscaloosa.
