Former Alabama Crimson Tide fullback Le’Ron McClain is hosting a free football camp on June 21 for kids aged five to eighteen.
The NFL All-Pro fullback hosts the youth camp annually. This is the seventh year for the camp.
The camp will be held at American Christian Academy, at 2300 Veterans Memorial Parkway in Tuscaloosa from 8:00 am until 12:30 pm. Registration for the camp begins at 8:00 am.
McClain was a fourth-round pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, signing with the Baltimore Ravens. In 2008, he and teammate Willis McGahee became the first tandem to have 70+ yard touchdown runs on back-to-back drives.
McClain played three seasons for the Ravens, making the Pro Bowl and being selected as an All-Pro twice before signing with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2011. In 2012 he left for the San Diego Chargers, where he played two seasons.
