Seattle Seahawks DL Jesse Williams Shows Off His Super Bowl Ring

Former Alabama defensive lineman Jesse Williams took to Instagram Thursday evening to show off his national championship and Super Bowl rings.

Williams, along with fellow former Alabama teammate James Carpenter, received Super Bowl rings Thursday night during a presentation ceremony celebrating the Seattle Seahawks victory over the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII.

Mark Inabinett of al.com described the rings as being more than a little flashy:

Seattle’s Super Bowl ring was made by Tiffany & Co. and features a Seahawks logo composed of 64 round diamonds with a tsavorite eye. The logo is framed by 12 diamonds. The Vince Lombardi Trophy, made of one diamond, is in a background of 107 round diamonds. Forty sapphires surround the ring’s top.

Williams is no stranger to blowing up social media. Fans went nuts earlier this year when the Brisbane, Australia native wore a distinctive purple jacket to the White House. Williams and the Seahawks were welcomed by president Obama to celebrate their Super Bowl victory.
