The Alabama Crimson Tide has passed the Florida State Seminoles as the favorite to win the national title in Dallas, TX, according to the latest odds posted by Bovada yesterday.

The Tide previously came in with 6/1 odds to win the inaugural College Football Playoff but moved passed the Seminoles, who currently are at 11/2. Oregon (8/1), Auburn (9/1) and Oklahoma (9/1) are the other teams rounding out the top five.

Back in July, the same site also had Alabama as the 3/2 favorite to win the SEC Championship with Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina, and LSU in a four-way tie behind them with 5/1.

If things go as the experts in Las Vegas see them, the Crimson Tide and their fans possibly can get their revenge on those teams that left a sour taste in their mouths after the 2013 season.

If the Tide does make it to Dallas, chances are they will have taken down in-state rival Auburn in Tuscaloosa for the Iron Bowl. Pair that with the chance to beat Oklahoma in the playoff or final game with also the chance to take on the South Carolina and Spurrier after all of his off season comments, this could be a season that will leave the Tide fans with more to brag about than normal.
