SEC football is upon us. Fans are flocking to grocery stores for their favorite tailgating foods, pretending to pick up dry-cleaning while really slipping into the liquor store next door, and mulling over their game day gear – lucky shirts, favorite hats, supercute houndstooth heels…

Just me? Okay, moving on…

If you’re like me, you’re comparing stats from last season, trying to remember who-lost-who to the NFL, and reading up on new guys taking those starting positions. I’m focused on these very important facts and crucial information as the clock ticks down.

I’m also wondering what kind of eye candy there will be this season.

That’s right. Like any other red-blooded American woman, I wanna know which teams have the hottest guys, and I’m not afraid to admit it. We already know Oregon has the hottest cheerleaders (I know they’re not SEC, but those chicks are so gorgeous it’s worth a mention). But which SEC teams have the men that will attract attention for more than just their playing abilities?

As a former cleat-chaser myself, I feel quite qualified to do this kind of research and present my findings to you. While I usually favored the O-line, I’ve chosen to focus instead on the captain of the ship; the leader of the squad.

The man who spends the most time with his hands under the butt of his teammates – the quarterback.

Ladies, and Michael Sam, this one is for you. Happy SEC football.
