The University of Kentucky is not in the Southeastern Conference because it has a great football team. Sure, they have a history speckled with great coaches and players passing through, but they are a staple in the SEC because of what the Big Blue does in the winter months with the round ball. Just like it is classier to have a tablecloth at a tailgate, it’s not necessary. The tablecloth does add a little somethin’ extra to the 8×8 world you have created to cook and party in before the game, but who is going to miss it? It is almost like that tablecloth needs the tailgate more than the tailgate needs the tablecloth.
