4. TCU (7-0)

TCU is like most Big 12 teams: A whole lot of offense and nada on defense. This year, the Big 12 does have a championship game. If TCU were to win out from here and win that, they could be the first ever Big 12 team in the Playoff. TCU is a solid team on offense, but their defense is extremely questionable.

Alabama would be able to do what it wants offensively for sure, but defensively TCU would be the Tide’s biggest challenge. The Horned Frogs like to do a lot of different things offensively so the Tide defense would have to be ready.

Alabama “Fare-ability” Score: 6 wins out of 10 games.

3. Georgia (7-0)

Georgia is easily the scariest team that could ruin Alabama’s quest for national championship No.17. The Bulldogs have been mowing down all their opponents and even have a signature win (Notre Dame) on their resume. Coach Kirby Smart has done well with this team and you almost feel a sense of pride for the former Alabama Assistant.

At the same time, you’re dreading to play Georgia. Right now, they are the team that looks to best upset Alabama in the SEC. The SEC Championship may actually be one of the more competitive ones and Crimson Tide is going to have to play their best game if they face the Bulldogs.

Alabama “Fare-ability” Score: 6 wins out of 10 games.
