Alabama Football: Bold predictions for each of Tide’s 2020 opponents

Bold predictions for Alabama football’s opponents: Texas A&M Aggies
Jimbo Fisher will be on the hot seat by the end of the season.
I genuinely feel bad for the Aggies. They were significantly better than their record has shown over the past two years, but playing Clemson didn’t do them any favors. Last season, they had to play the national champions, the SEC East champion, the ACC champion, and they also lost to Auburn. That’s before you add Alabama football into the equation. This year was supposed to be their year, but the added conference games made things worse.
Texas A&M will now be playing Florida in 2020. Adding all of their other daunting opponents, they remain in the second tier of the SEC, and that’s if everything goes right. If the Aggies get upset by some SEC West teams or possibly Tennessee, they could easily fall to 6-4 or even 5-5. At that point, Jimbo Fisher’s seat will be warm.
I don’t think that Fisher will be fired any time soon. He simply makes too much money. With the economics of college football unstable, no one is going to want to buy him out and spend even more money on another option. However, fans don’t think in the language of finance. I’m predicting for fans to want him to be fired due to an inability to compete in the SEC West.
It would take some major chaos for Jimbo Fisher to be fired, but I don’t think it would take too much for him to be placed on the hot seat.
