Alabama Football: Final Prediction for Early Signing Period

There will be surprises. Fans of Alabama Football can xpect some flips, some disappointments and some pleasant surprises Some players may choose to wait. Some other players may be asked to wait.

There are four more guys who may end up in the Alabama Football 2022 class. One or more of them could replace players on the list of 25 predicted signees or could be additions. The four are again listed in the order of their 247Sports Composite rating.

• Marvin Jones Jr.; American Heritage High School, Fort Lauderdale, FL; 5-Star; No. 2 edge rusher and No. 22 player overall. Jones is expected to sign early, but not enroll early.
• Anthony Lucas; Chaparral High School, Scottsdale, AZ; 4-Star; No. 7 defensive lineman and No. 50 player overall. Lucas is expected to announce a decision this week and enroll early.
• Jihaad Campbell; IMG Academy, Bradenton, FL; 4-Star; No. 9 edge rusher and No. 78 player overall. Like Daylen Everette, Campbell is a recent de-commit from Clemson.
• Shemar James: Faith Academy, Mobile, AL; 4-Star; No. 7 linebacker and No. 64 player overall.

As close followers of Alabama football recruiting have no doubt noticed, there are some top targets for the Crimson Tide not on this predicted list. Most notable are 5-Stars, Domani Jackson, Denver Harris and Kiyaunta Goodwin. Also, 4-Star Caden Curry was not included. Any of them signing with the Crimson Tide would be a tremendous boost to the class.

However Wednesday and subsequent recruiting plays out, Nick Saban and Alabama Football will have an exceptional class.
