Derrick Henry – Tennessee Titans

2021 Stats: 219 rushes, 937 yards, 10 TD, 18 receptions, 154 yards

Undoubtedly the biggest name of any former Alabama player in the AFC South is that of Henry, a two-time Pro Bowl selection who enters the 2022 season looking for his third rushing title in the past four years.

Even despite missing half of the 2021 season due to injury, Henry still nearly rushed for 1,000 yards a year ago, and was clearly one of, if not, the top running backs in the NFL when active. Assuming he remains healthy this season, Henry is undoubtedly Tennessee’s top running back, and should rank among the top of the NFL in rushing, as well as a candidate to make his third career Pro Bowl appearance.

Da’Shawn Hand – Tennessee Titans

2021 Stats: 2 tackles, 1 PD

Having appeared in only four games a year ago between the Detroit Lions and Tennessee Titans, Hand enters his first full season with the Titans this fall.

As for Hand’s potential outlook this season, the former Crimson Tide defensive lineman is likely a depth option for the Titans at defensive end. Hand could see time this season however, but should that happen, it would likely come in a limited role.

Shyheim Carter – Tennessee Titans

2021 Stats: DNP

The final former Alabama Football player in the AFC South is Carter, who enters the 2022 season with Tennessee after spending time on the Titans practice squad a year ago.

Looking at Carter’s potential 2022 season as well, the former Alabama defensive back is likely a depth piece for the Titans secondary. Should Carter see time this season, it would likely come in a special teams role.
