Alabama Football Offense

Quarterback – Bryce Young, with Jalen Milroe as QB2 and Ty Simpson as QB3

Running Back – Four will play and it would not be a stretch to think the range of snaps will be close. Jahmyr Gibbs and Jase McClellan can be called co-starters, followed by Trey Sanders and Roydell Williams.

Offensive Line – First Unit (left to right) – Tyler Steen; Kendall Randolph, Darrian Dalcourt, Emil Ekiyor Jr. and J.C. Latham. For now, call the second unit Damieon George Jr. Tyler Booker, Seth McLaughlin, Javion Cohen and Amari Kight. Cohen has the best chance to return to the first team. Alabama football fans will be concerned about a proven backup at left tackle, but fall camp reports are George has improved. A guess is that must be true, otherwise, Tyler Booker would not be working at guard.

Wide Receiver – Jermaine Burton, Ja’Corey Brooks and Traeshon Holden. That trio is followed by freshman Kobe Prentice and transfer Tyler Harrell. All five should see regular action. Earle, when recovered will make a six-man WR rotation. Key backups are freshmen, Shazz Preston and Kendrick Law.

Tight End – Until Cameron Latu can return, the position is a question mark. Mark down Robbie Ouzts as a starter. When a second or third tight end is used, JUCO transfer Miles Kitselman should be one of them.

Placekicker – Will Reichard

Punter – James Burnip

Kick Returner – Jahmyr Gibbs

Next. Players with breakthrough potential. dark

A guess for Nick Saban’s first public depth chart is ‘or’ will be used at cornerback, tight end, and at wide receiver; and possibly at Will linebacker.
