The NFL pre-draft process is beginning to ramp up and will get started in earnest in two weeks when the 2026 NFL scouting combine begins in Indianapolis.

Running from February 23rd through March 2nd, players will have a major opportunity to impress all 32 NFL teams as they look to make their move up the NFL Draft board.

319 total prospects were invited to this year's combine, and that list includes 12 from Alabama:

  • QB Ty Simpson
  • RB Jam Miller
  • WR Germie Bernard
  • TE Josh Cuevas
  • OL Parker Brailsford
  • OL Kadyn Proctor
  • OL Jaeden Roberts
  • DL Tim Keenan
  • DL LT Overton
  • LB Justin Jefferson
  • LB Deontae Lawson
  • CB Domani Jackson

Alabama players have a lot to prove at the NFL Combine

The last bit of college tape didn't do any Alabama players a favor with their NFL Draft stock. The Crimson Tide took a 35-point beating at the hands of eventual national champion Indiana at the Rose Bowl in one of the most embarrassing performances in program history.

Ty Simpson and Kadyn Proctor represent Alabama's best chance to keep their 17-year streak of having a first-round pick in the NFL Draft alive. Simpson is ranked as the No. 2 QB on Mel Kiper Jr.'s big board, and No. 25 overall.

It will be interesting if Simpson chooses to throw or not in Indy, or if he'll wait for his Alabama Pro Day before doing so, like has been a recent trend among the top quarterbacks in each draft class.

Proctor is ranked as the No. 6 OT, but should impress with his athletic profile in Indianapolis.

Other Tide players ranked in the Top 10 of their position groups according to Kiper include Bernard (No. 9 WR), Josh Cuevas (No. 7 FB/H-Back), Parker Brailsford (No. 8 center), LT Overton (No. 7 DE), Tim Keenan (No. 10 DT), and Justin Jefferson (No. 10 off-ball LB).
