Eight former Alabama Crimson Tide players were taken in the 2014 NFL Draft. CJ Mosley was the first to come off the board, being drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round, followed shortly thereafter by HaHa Clinton-Dix, who was drafted by the Green Bay Packers.
Cyrus Kouandjio then went in the second round to the Buffalo Bills. No Alabama players were selected in the third round, but the Seattle Seahawks drafted Kevin Norwood in the fourth round.
Ed Stinson was the next off the board, being selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the fifth round. AJ McCarron’s long wait then came to an end when the Cincinnati Bengals selected him in the fifth round. The Saints then selected Vinnie Sunseri in the fifth as well.
The sixth round then opened up with the Houson Texans selecting the final Alabama player in the draft, Jeoffrey Pagan.
Things didn’t stop there, however, as several other former Alabama players were signed as undrafted free agents in the hours following the draft. Adrian Hubbard will be joining Clinton-Dix in Green Bay, Anthony Steen is joining Stinson in Arizona, Cody Mandell signed with the Dallas Cowboys, Deoin Belue signed with Miami, John Fulton signed with the Philadelphia Eagles, and Tana Patrick signed with the Chicago Bears. Kenny Bell still has yet to sign with a team.
