The Aggies made an immediate impact on the SEC in their first year, beating then-No. 1 Alabama. Whether they were a one-act show remains to be seen, but one thing is certain; they fit right in with the old-school nature of the conference. Their traditional maroon and white uniforms have been relatively unchanged for years, save some white striping down the arms. While the Aggies occasionally goof up their unis with gimmickry, they have for the most part remained true to their roots.
