Every tailgate needs ice. When someone puts that piece of ice in their cup and put the icing on a refreshingly-cold adult beverage, it brings a smile to their face. However, when that ice melts (and it always does) then that drink becomes hot and causes a sadness that is difficult to overcome. The problem with ice is that it cools a drink off immediately, thus creating the expectation that this concoction will stay great for a long while. Sadly, in the Southeastern Conference heat ice melts quickly as many tailgaters know. Just like ice, Mizzou is going to quickly fizzle and let fans down. Losing their starting quarterback and several record-breaking defensive players will cause a quick cool-down for what was once a very hot team.
