I can hear you guys now. Did you seriously just pick a kicker? I sure did and let me tell you why.

For the past few seasons, the Tide’s kicking game has been a problem. I have watched the game and have found myself saying an expletive in worry anytime the kicking team trotted out on to the field. But this year, everything is good to go.

While Griffith didn’t have a spectacular day by putting up outrageous stats, he did what was asked, went out, and was perfect on the day. He was a perfect five-for-five on extra points as well as being perfect on two field goal attempts with a long of 28 yards. For the season, he is perfect on eight field goals as well as eight extra points. Keep it up, young man. My heart thanks you.
