Alabama Football: Crimson Tide in the NFL (Week 3)

facebooktwitterreddit

Week Three has come and gone for the Crimson Tide in the NFL. Let’s take a look at how your favorite Tide players did this weekend.

News and Notes

Saints running back Mark Ingram had surgery this week to place two screws in a displaced fracture in his hand. Ingram suffered the injury last weekend in the loss to the Browns but continued to play through it. Saints head coach Sean Payton doesn’t expect him to miss much time but he did miss this week’s game against the Vikings.

Ravens linebacker Courtney Upshaw was fined $16,537 by the NFL for his roughing-the-passer penalty last week against Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. According to quotes from Upshaw in the Baltimore Sun, he does plan to appeal the decision.
