ESPN makes it official: College GameDay is headed to Alabama-Ole Miss
"Ole Miss made things interesting, but it kept its end of the bargain. After beating Memphis 24-3 on Saturday night, ESPN confirmed its popular College GameDay show would head to next Saturday’s Alabama-Ole Miss game."
A lot will be on the online next weekend in Oxford next weekend. Both teams are entering the weekend undefeated and one team will leave with a loss. Which Bo Wallace will we see against Ole Miss? That remains to be seen.
Alabama football: Sims’ success doesn’t surprise everyone
"While others may have doubted, Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland said he didn’t.Ragland said he saw it coming. He had multiple conversations with Crimson Tide quarterback Blake Sims and knew that the fifth-year senior would be able to lead the Tide.“I saw it the whole summer,” Ragland said. “I already knew Blake was going to come in and do his thing because everybody was doubting him."
And that he did, Reggie. That he did. He’s been unbelievable for the first few games, especially against Florida. Let’s hope he keeps playing the same all season long.
Separating contenders, pretenders
"We’ll start to separate the contenders from the pretenders in the rugged SEC West. Five of college football’s remaining unbeaten teams reside in the sport’s best division, and four of them will square off next week. No. 3 Alabama plays at No. 10 Ole Miss, and No. 14 Mississippi State hosts Texas A&M. No. 5 Auburn also hosts No. 17 LSU, which lost to Mississippi State 34-29 two weeks ago.“We are going to prepare [for Alabama] like we do everyone else,” Ole Miss safety Cody Prewitt said. “They are coming to into our house, so we’re not going to be intimidated. They are going to be the ones climbing up the hill.”"
Seems like Ole Miss players may be a little talkative like their quarterback was last year. Let them talk. That will be absolutely fine with me. Just make sure the players see it and everything should work out perfectly.

Alabama has now collected three doubles victories and two singles victories for the tournament. On the day, Emily Zabor earned her third victory of the tournament, first in singles, as she cruised past junior Alex Moreno-Kaste of Furman, 6-1, 6-2."
Rowing Sweeps Three Races Against UAH Saturday
"Alabama opened its fall season hosting a head-style race against UAH on Saturday, winning all three events.“Overall, I thought today went well,” said Head Coach Larry Davis. “We did some things well and there are still some things that we need to work on but we’re aware of that. The conditions were pretty good today but they were a little tricky given the level of execution we’d like to see from our team day-in and day-out.”"
University of Alabama Student-Athletes Honor John Servati with Habitat for Humanity Weekend
"Saturday morning practices are, for the Alabama swimming and diving tea,, the most concentrated and grueling of the week. It’s when the team puts in the most yardage, the hardest work and when the focus is the most intense. The aftermath of such workouts usually includes lots of rest and recovery, but this Saturday was a different story. This Saturday, members of the men’s and women’s teams went straight from swimsuits and goggles to work boots and safety goggles, traveling just a few miles down University Boulevard from the Alabama Aquatic Center to the site of a Habitat for Humanity build."
