Get your day started with the Morning Kickoff. All of your Crimson Tide news in one place.

Tennessee will use 2 QBs vs. Alabama if Justin Worley can’t play, Butch Jones says

"Jones, speaking on Nashville radio station 104.5 The Zone, said Worley was still being evaluated and indicated the injury was a “cumulative effect” of all the hits he’s taken this season. Tennessee has surrendered an SEC-worst 30 sacks.“As we’ve come accustomed to, you need more than one quarterback, especially in this conference,” Jones said. “They’ve taken some valuable repetitions over time. If Justin isn’t able to go, they’ll be ready to step up and we would play both quarterbacks if Justin doesn’t go on Saturday.”"

From checking all the media reports, it sounds like Tennessee quarterback Justin Worley is very questionable for the game on Saturday. There has been some rumblings about this since Monday so I’m sure Saban and company have been preparing for the possibility of seeing a different quarterback.

Alabama target, 4-star linebacker Adonis Thomas decommits from Florida

"Adonis Thomas, a 4-star linebacker from Lawrenceville, Ga., decommitted from Florida. He originally committed to Florida in early August, choosing the Gators over the Crimson Tide.Thomas posted on his Twitter account that he was still considering Florida along with Alabama and LSU. Earlier this season, his head coach told AL.com that Thomas planned to attend several Alabama games and take an official visit after the season to Tuscaloosa."

Keep an eye on this one. Lots of smoke that he could join the good guys in Tuscaloosa.

Alabama Football: Defensive Line’s Resurgence Just What Secondary Needs

"It’s not hard to figure out which of Alabama’s position groups is most improved from last year to now.The Crimson Tide’s pass rush is night-and-day from where it was last year and has turned into one of this team’s strengths in 2014.Alabama has registered 19 sacks so far this season. Last year, it notched just 22. If the Crimson Tide play only 13 games this year and maintain their pace, they would total about 35 sacks, which would tie a Saban-era high set by the 2012 team, which played 14 games."

Keep bringing the pain, boys. I am loving this pass rush and the pressure that we are getting on the quarterbacks. Bo Davis has done a great job since his return for this season.

"Alabama Rowing officially opened its brand-new facilities Thursday afternoon at the ribbon-cutting ceremony at Manderson Landing on the banks of the Black Warrior River."
