By Magilla
As the Washington Redskins pulled off the overtime upset on Rolando McClain and the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football, week 8 in the NFL has come to a close. Several former Crimson Tide players set season and career highs this past weekend, so check below to see how they did!
News and Notes
Despite being active for Indianapolis’ week 8 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Colts RB Trent Richardson did not see time due to a linger hamstring suffered late in week 7. He was available in the game for emergencies only.
It was a a bittersweet homecoming for Packers RB and Louisiana native Eddie Lacy as Green Bay fell to New Orleans in the Superdome 44-23. Lacy did however manage to pile up 182 total yards in front of his home state, which was 2nd in the league for week 8 and a career high for Lacy.
In one of the biggest defensive plays of the weekend, Cardinals FS Rashad Johnson forced out a last second Eagles touchdown by WR Jordan Matthews to preserve Arizona’s 24-20 win.
