As the Indianapolis Colts cruised past the New York Giants 40-24, another week has come and gone in the 2014 NFL season. There were some bumps and bruises at several Bama players’ expense, one being a season ender. Read on to see how week 9 unfolded.

News and Notes

After picking off a pass late in the 4th quarter of Philedephia’s win over Houston, ILB DeMeco Ryans went to the ground untouched in his return to Reliant Stadium. Shortly after the game, it was determined Ryans had suffered a torn Achilles’ to his right foot and will be out for the year. Ryans previously suffered the same injury to his left foot while he was with Houston in 2010.

Despite being waived earlier in the week by the Kansas City Chiefs, turns out DL Damion Square be won’t leaving the division. Picked up on waivers by the San Diego Chargers, Square will reunited with former Bama teammate OT DJ Fluker.
