Saban: T.J. Yeldon ready to go

"Thanks to a well-timed bye week, Alabama could have starting left tackle Cam Robinson and starting running back T.J. Yeldon available for Saturday’s game at LSU.Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban said on Wednesday’s SEC coaches’ teleconference that Yeldon, a two-year starter who leads the team with 618 yards rushing this season, is expected to be ready to go against the Tigers (No. 16 College Football Playoff, No. 14 Associated Press) after sustaining a foot injury in a 34-20 win at Tennessee on Oct. 25."

It will be big to have both of these guys back and ready to go. All hands on deck for LSU. This is one that I would love to see total embarrassment in and don’t hate to admit it.

Alabama Has Matchup Advantage in Critical LSU Game

"So this has also historically been a close game. The regular-season margin of victory has been single digits for every year that Nick Saban has been at Alabama except for last year, when Alabama won convincingly by 21 points. That could be the case yet again this year.Despite these two teams being so close talent-wise on paper, the Crimson Tide match up well with what LSU wants to do. Where the Tigers have had success this season, Alabama has been stout defensively. And the Crimson Tide’s offense can present some problems to the Tigers defense."

If the Tide can stop the run and the Anthony Jennings acts the same as he has all year, this one could get ugly and in a hurry. The Tigers’ bread and butter is running the ball and Saban and Smart always zero in on stopping what their opponents do well.

Alabama offers WR commit Calvin Ridley’s younger brother Cavin

"Alabama hopes to keep it in the family when it comes to talented receivers from south Florida.Alabama has a commitment from Calvin Ridley, a 5-star receiver from Monarch High School in Coconut Creek, Fla. On Friday, Alabama offered Calvin’s younger brother Cavin Ridley, a 2016 4-star receiver from the same high school, according to a tweet from Florida Fire 7v7 coach Dennis Marroquin."

Alabama issued a new offer out last night to Cavin Ridley, the brother of talented Alabama commit Calvin Ridley. Both Ridley brothers are talented in their own right.

Volleyball Falls to No. 7 Florida, 3-0, Friday in Gainesville

"Fresh off the team’s first Top 25 win since 2007, Alabama could not make it two-straight ranked wins as the Crimson Tide fell to Florida, 3-0, on the road Friday night.Alabama (19-6, 7-4 SEC) was limited to a season-low .169 hitting percentage while Florida (19-3, 13-0 SEC) hit .360 as a team, led by Alex Holston with 16 kills and a .600 hitting percentage. Krystal Rivers led the Tide offense with 12 kills and four blocks, while Brittany Thomas was close behind with eight kills and seven digs.
