Nick Saban: College is my legacy (ESPN)

"“As I’ve talked about before, I think sometimes you’ve got to pick what you want your legacy to be. Where do you get the most positive self-gratification from, what you want to be and where you think you have the best impact on people. We’re extremely happy with being a college coach and what we’ve been able to do as a college coach and the challenges we have in trying to continue to do it.”"

For the umpteenth time, Nick Saban says he’s not going to the NFL.

Alabama Head Coach Nick Saban wins 2014 Dodd Trophy (Roll Bama Roll)

"“We’re proud to present college football’s most prestigious coaching award, and strongly believe in the tenets it represents,” added Gary Stokan, president and CEO of the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. “Coach Saban has long exhibited the ideals that are emblematic of Coach Dodd – leadership, scholarship and integrity – so we are honored to recognize him and the impact he has had on his student-athletes and on the Alabama community.”"

A great honor and a huge award for Nick Saban. He’ll place the award right next to his already multiple championship rings, I’m sure.

Alabama RB Kenyan Drake will ‘be back for sure’ with Tide after graphic injury (AL.com)

"Speculation suggested an early exit to the NFL was possible before the Oct. 4 injury, but Drake quickly shot down that talk in an interview from Tuesday’s Sugar Bowl media day.“No, not to my knowledge,” he told AL.comTuesday. “I have to get my degree first. I’ll be back for sure.”"

Good to hear Drake will be back next year. Boosts the RB position more for 2015.

Rashaan Evans Gives Funny Answer About Bourbon Street (Bama Hammer)

"Sometimes “The Process” can easily be seen but sometimes, an interview like Rashaan Evans gave to ESPN’s Kaylee Hartung can slip through. It made for a truly hilarious moment during the Tide’s Media Day that we are willing to overlook it but no word from Coach Saban yet."

And none you would hear. Saban didn’t mention this. Check out the video in the link above. Worth your time.

Furniture Store Promises Refunds If Ohio State Wins The National Championship (ThePostGame)

"According to the Dayton Daily News, if the state’s beloved Buckeyes win the national championship, an Ohio furniture store will refund all the money paid by customers on purchases of $1,999 or more on furniture, mattresses or accessories. But there’s a catch — Ohio State must win the national championship by seven points or more. So all the Buckeyes have to do is beat the most dominant program of the past five years and then take down a Heisman Trophy winning quarterback by at least a touchdown. And, in case you forgot, the Buckeyes are down to Cardale Jones, who has started one game this year and began the season as the team’s third-string quarterback."

I believe this is a safe bet for sure. Don’t see much money being lost on this.
