By Clay Shumate
Check out what the current 2015 Alabama football ticket prices are and see what games might be in your budget.
We are only weeks away from the beginning of the 2015 college football season. Like every year, this is when we begin to see tickets flood third party sites. These tickets prices, generally, are much higher than face value. Sure, there are the games that scalpers will give tickets away, no I am serious, wait until the game starts and some will just hand you the tickets so they don’t have to bother with them anymore. There are also the games where third party sellers salivate at how high the hike up Alabama Football ticket prices and get away with it. Let’s break down the ticket prices game by game. From lowest to highest. We’ll be using StubHub.com – a reputable third party site to gauge the Alabama Football ticket prices for each game.
Charleston Southern Buccaneers v. The University of Alabama
Date: November 21
Time: TBD
Location: Bryant-Denny Stadium
Lowest Price: $48.50
Highest Price: $600.00
This game is the calm before the storm that is the Iron Bowl. Alabama Football always schedules a cupcake game before we take on our little brother from down south. This should be an easy game, and most people would rather sit at home listening to Eli Gold than going through the trouble getting onto campus and in the stadium. That being said, this one of the those excellent games for big families to bring everyone. The tickets will be cheap, much cheaper than $48.50 and if the little ones want to leave early it will not be a huge deal. Whenever you can watch a game in Bryant-Denny for under $50 it’s a steal.
Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders v. The University of Alabama
Date: September 12
Time: 3:00 C.T.
Location: Bryant-Denny Stadium
Lowest Price: $54.00
Highest Price: $707.25
This will be the first home game inside Bryant-Denny for the 2015 season. Understandably so, everyone who is capable will want to attend so they can breath in that sweet smell of sweat and bourbon as the wind gently blows against their faces. We could be playing Central High School and the ticket prices would be higher than expected. That being said, I bet this will not be a sell out and you will be able to find tickets much cheaper than $54.00 around The Quad that day.
Louisiana Monroe Warhawks v. The University of Alabama
Date: September 26
Time: TBD
Location: Bryant-Denny Stadium
Lowest Price: $57.00
Highest Price: $600.00
The Warkhawks are always a fun team to watch until their depth and size gets the best of them. That being said, they are not enough fun to pay $57.00 to watch. Anyone will be able to snag tickets to this lopsided brawl the day of for much less than $50.00. The Quad will be your friend once again.
The University of Alabama v. Mississippi State Bulldogs
Date: November 14
Time: TBD
Location: Davis Wade Stadium
Lowest Price: $78.30
Highest Price: $1,381.00
It is Mississippi State. This explains why we see a spike, compared to our cupcakes, but nothing outside of most people’s price range. If you live around Tuscaloosa this is a great opportunity to go visit Mississippi State and enjoy a game. After all, it is only about 45 minutes away.
Cowboys Classic: Alabama Crimson Tide v. Wisconsin Badgers Football
Date: September 5
Time: 7:00 C.T.
Location: Cowboys Stadium
Lowest Price: $121.08
Highest Price: $27,878.00
It is the start of the football season! Wahooo! Sadly, the game is all the way in Arlington, Texas. The price for gas alone if chose to drive would take this game outside of a lot folk’s price range. I can’t blame them. That being said, I believe this is why we see such cheap ticket prices for this game. It’s also Wisconsin and a lot of Bama fans expect this to be a win. I am assuming a lot fellow fans will be having house parties and enjoying cooking out in their backyards with friends while watching on their large flat screen TV.
Arkansas Razorbacks v. Alabama Crimson Tide
Date: October 10
Time: TBD (Homecoming, so more than likely before 3:00 C.T.)
Location: Bryant-Denny
Lowest Ticket Price: $132.99
Highest Ticket Price: $917.55
As stated above, we are hosting the Razorbacks for homecoming this season. The Razorbacks are gaining momentum under Brett, but I don’t think they have come far enough to justify $133 per ticket. If this game was not inside Bryant-Denny and homecoming I bet the ticket prices would be much more inexpensive.
Ole Miss Rebels v. Alabama Crimson Tide
Date: September 19
Time: 8:15 C.T.
Location: Bryant-Denny
Lowest Ticket Price: $163.36
Highest Ticket Price: $999.75
FINALLY! We have our first SEC game of the season. This being combined with a 8:15 kickoff has definitely helped these ticket prices. We all remember what happened the last time Rebels came to Tuscaloosa and played under the lights.

Alabama Crimson Tide v. Texas A&M Aggies
Date: October 17
Time: TBD
Location: Kyle Field
Lowest Ticket Price:
$196.11
Highest Ticket Price:
$2,599.00
Kyle Field has had a recent revamp and after last year the Aggies are going to be looking for revenge. Even with the terrible loss Texas A&M endured in the previous season, this is still a kindling rivalry. Should be worth the price.
Tennessee Volunteers v. Alabama Crimson Tide
Date: October 24
Time: TBD
Location: Bryant-Denny
Lowest Ticket Price:
$197.98
Highest Ticket Price:
$978.69
It’s always a party in Bryant-Denny Stadium when the big orange comes to town. They have had an 8 year dry streak against The Crimson Tide, but everyone seems to be buying into Butch Jones and his program. Even those selling tickets, it is definitely reflected in the prices.
LSU Tigers v. Alabama Crimson Tide
Date: November 7
Time: TBD
Location: Bryant-Denny
Lowest Ticket Price:
$269.67
Highest Ticket Price:
$1,438.50
Ever since Nick Saban arrived in Tuscaloosa this rivalry has heated up. Some can argue it deserves more attention than Auburn on certain years. The battles between Saban and Miles have proven to be emotionally exhausting for both sides over the years and this time around will be no different. In my opinion, these ticket prices will go up as both teams go through the season. I would probably buy them before they sky rocket. Just my opinion.
Alabama Crimson Tide v. Auburn Tigers
Date: November 28
Time: TBD
Location: Jordan Hare Stadium
Lowest Ticket Price:
$348.34
Highest Ticket Price:
$2,228.60
The Iron Bowl! The last few years have proven anyone can win this game – in any different way. That being said, these ticket prices will always be sky high. With national media experts being quoted saying both Alabama and Auburn will have excellent years these tickets will only rise. Let’s be honest, either one of these teams could have lost every game to this point and the prices will still be high. You never know what will happen in an Iron Bowl match-up.
Alabama Crimson Tide v. Georgia Bulldogs
Date: October 3
Time: TBD
Location: Sanford Stadium
Lowest Ticket Price:
$360.00
Highest Ticket Price:
$2,634.75
The most expensive ticket an Alabama fan can buy all season, according to StubHub. It was rare we played Georgia, but after adding in Missouri along with Texas A&M it has become even more rare. There is nothing like sticking it to Mark Richt and his holier than thou teams when you get the opportunity. Most Alabama cans would agree with this. After all if you ask any Georgia fan this is their year to go all the way.
Just like every year we see a huge difference between the cupcake game Alabama football ticket prices and the big time SEC game Alabama football ticket prices. However, there are a couple of games, if you saved you pennies, you could attend that will be fun to watch. Most people, myself included, have started to do more couchgating, so I don’t think anyone will be hard pressed to attend the games. After all, you can always install surround sound, order HD, and invite your friends over. You get to choose the food, have A/C, and your own restroom. With advances in technology and rising Alabama Football ticket prices it is becoming harder and harder to beat that couchgating deal.
