#2 Other fans wanting Saban to leave doesn’t mean anything.

When I say fans I’m of course counting WTHR’s Bob Kravitz, because he isn’t speaking as a journalist when he says the Colts should go after Nick Saban, he’s speaking as a Colts fan.

How many times have we heard “journalists” whether it’s Clay Travis or Tim Brando assure us that Nick Saban has one foot out the door and is headed to Texas? It’s almost a yearly tradition at this point. How many times have troglodytes on Texas Longhorn message boards told us that their wife’s second cousin is a realtor and she took Mrs. Terry looking for houses in Austin?

Clay Travis is all about getting the clicks and pushing Tennessee.

I wonder if he will catch flak for the next eight years for picking Alabama to lose to Georgia, LSU, and Texas A&M? It would only be fair since he wants to hold people accountable forver for things that happen years in the past.

Tennessee fans have several reasons they want Saban to take the Titans job.  One being that they have given up on Butch being better than Saban.

Alabama wins, Alabama wins a lot.  So fans of teams that Alabama regularly puts a beating on like Tennessee and LSU latch on to “Saban is leaving” rumors with all the hope their sad little hearts can muster.  Meanwhile fans of pathetic NFL teams look at what Saban did at Alabama and say “why not us, why not here?”

Fans of the NFL are just incapable of understanding why a coach would want to coach college football instead of have press conferences explaining why Greg Hardy is a super guy.
