#3 Miss Terry and Nick Saban aren’t unhappy.

I know this one is hard for the rumor mongers to here, but the Saban’s seem genuinely happy in Tuscaloosa.  Nick and Terry Saban have roots in Alabama now and it’s going to take more than “BUT IT’S THE NFL” to make them move.

The Saban’s have a grandchild living in Birmingham, they have a daughter who graduated from Alabama and was just married in Bryant-Denny stadium… oh and they just donated a substantial amount to St. Francis to create the Nick and Terry Saban Student Center.

It’s been eight years since Nick Saban came to Alabama, maybe the “Nick Saban is unhappy and about to leave again” line is getting a little disingenuous.

I know Saban said he wouldn’t take the Alabama job eight years ago and then did.  What if we all were held accountable for sometime we did eight years ago?

I guess we shouldn’t listen to any picks from media members who picked LSU to beat Alabama for the next eight years right? We should constantly remind them of their screw up right? They won’t get mad and will totally understand that we are just holding them accountable right? Yeah, that’s not likely.

Nick Saban is also 64 years old now.  If he was to go to the Colts or Titans and take over a rebuilding job he probably wouldn’t see results for a couple of years, so now you are talking about being 66 or 67 when things get on track.  I don’t think Nick Saban is going to coach until 70, so I don’t think he’s leaving Alabama.

Nick Saban has everything he could want at Alabama, and if someone else comes calling you can bet Alabama will do whatever they need to do to meet their offer. This means Nick Saban would have to want to leave, and I find that hard to believe after eight years.
