#6 Nick Saban is a college coach.

Nick Saban has been down this road.  Nick Saban coached in the NFL and by all accounts hated it.  He hated being responsible to an owner and having a GM undercut what he wanted to do, he hated not being able to control the players, he hated not recruiting and not getting to choose his team.

Do we really think Saban left Miami, but at 64 wants to go through all that again?

Nick Saban has constantly said he is a college coach.  I know the media claim that you “can’t trust anything he says” because of what happened eight years ago, but do we really think he’s been lying all this time?

When Nick Saban talks about the things he’s proud of he almost always talks about helping young men become leaders and productive people with degrees.  He may mention other things, but he almost always mentions seeing the kids he coached as successful men after graduation.  That’s not something Saban is going to get in the NFL.

The NFL is just about wins. That’s it.

On one hand you have helping young men become leaders, on the other hand you have talking to the media even more.

I’m sure Nick Saban would jump at the chance to talk about deflated footballs and how good a guy Pacman Jones is right? Yeah, that sounds like Nick Saban.
