6 Archibald’s

Barbecue is the life blood of Alabama, we all know that. Tuscaloosa has an abundance of amazing barbecue restaurants from the classic Dreamland, to Jim N’ Nick’s, to those game day favorites the BBQ nachos from Big Bad Wolves.

Our choice for delicious pig, however, is Archibald’s.  Archibald’s is old school and perfect.  There is no way we could do Archibald’s justice by describing it, you truly just have to taste it to believe it.

If you want to truly be a thankful Alabama fan then do the BBQ tour and try all four of the famous Tuscaloosa BBQ establishments.  Then you’ll be equipped to join the constant and ferocious local debate about which is the best.

All barbecue though is not created equal, and we are thankful for Archibald’s.
