Do you love good southern food? Then you need to get yourself to City Cafe.  City Cafe has been an Alabama staple for decades, and food just doesn’t get any better.

You can have breakfast at City Cafe from 4:00 AM to 10:20AM and lunch from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM (MONDAY THRU FRIDAY ONLY).  When you get to City Cafe you will be waiting in line… probably a line that snakes though the whole restaurant; be patient though, heaven awaits.  When you finally do slide into a booth you’ll discover the best meat and three this side, or any side, of the Mississippi.

We can’t explain how much we love City Cafe, it’s just not possible.  It’s a trip back in time to the Alabama of Bear Bryant with the southern fixins straight off your grandmother’s table.
