5 Excuses Alabama Haters Will Use To Try To Deny Henry The Heisman

Poor Trent Richardson.  He has become what every Alabama hater points to when they can’t find anything else to grab on to when trying to mock Alabama fans.

This is excuse will go something like this: “Derrick Henry is just going to be another Bama NFL bust like Trent Richardson so…”

First off the performance of a player in the NFL has nothing to do with the Heisman Trophy.  That’s the first part of this that is ridiculous.  The second part of this that is ridiculous is that there are so many Alabama players in the NFL succeeding right now that it’s completely unreal.

I could put a huge list of Alabama players in the NFL here, but it’s so many that that would just take up too much space.

The final problem with this excuse is that there is no way that anyone can predict what Derrick Henry will do in the NFL based on what someone else did.

This excuse is bad and you should feel bad if you use it.
